Does Plusnet throttle broadband
Plusnet do not throttle speeds. You can only use bandwidth once so if you do a speed test whilst download you will get a report showing slower speed.

How do I access my Plusnet account
You can find it in the email we sent to you when you joined.
This is the password you created when first signing up. If you can’t remember it, we’ll email the address you gave us with a link to reset it.
How long does Plusnet take to activate
How long does it take to set up? If you’re new to broadband your service should be up and running after 5-10 working days.
If you’re transferring your service from another provider there’s a 10 working day minimum period and you’ll be able to choose a set up date if you wish.

Do Plusnet offer TV packages
Plusnet doesn’t offer TV and broadband packages like BT, Sky or Virgin Media does.
You’ll first need to get Plusnet fibre broadband installed then phone up Plusnet to add TV at a later date.
Plusnet TV is really only aimed at existing Plusnet fibre broadband customers.
Can I add another sim to my Plusnet account
A maximum of 5 SIM cards can be linked to one Plusnet broadband or home phone account.

If you purchase an EE locked handset and your SIM does not work, you can unlock the device so your SIM will be accepted.

Plusnet Wireless Broadband uses WiFi technology in partnership with BT Openzone wireless hotspots, so that you can get online when you’re away from home.

Is BT Sport free with Plusnet
It’s included as standard with all YouView TV from Plusnet packages, so once you’ve signed up for YouView TV from Plusnet, you don’t need to do anything.

Can I use Sky router with Plusnet
Sadly you can’t use your old Sky Q hub with PlusNet as Sky locked down the firmware and you can’t reconfigure it.
Your mileage may vary, of course. As for using a mesh network, those will work fine as they just plug into an Ethernet port on your router.

Plusnet Mobile customers wishing to cancel their mobile service can dial 500 from their Plusnet mobile or 0800 079 1133 on any phone.
To meet the cancellation period set out above, you must send your notice of cancellation to us, or you must have called us, before the cancellation period has expired.
What is the difference between Plusnet hub 1 and 2
The Plusnet Hub One is a repurposed BT Home Hub 5A. The Smarthub 2 is currently the latest BT offering.
